The Stanton Cross Community Award

The Stanton Cross Community Award is a community fund set up by Stanton Cross housebuilder Bovis Homes to support the vital work of local residents and groups.

The Stanton Cross Community Award makes a quarterly donation of £1,000 to local charities and community groups. The fund was set up in 2016 by Bovis Homes to provide much needed funding for Wellingborough’s most deserving community projects transforming the area.

Previous Stanton Cross Community Award winners

Teamwork Trust
Wellingborough’s Teamwork Trust were the winners of the second Stanton Cross Community Award. The Award helped support the upgrade of Teamwork Trusts’ existing kitchen facilities at their Wellingborough centre, providing a much needed social space for its members to share advice, support and experience.

Castle Fields Community Group
In March 2016 the Castle Fields Community Group won the first Stanton Cross Community Award. The Award helped the groups’ volunteers continue the rejuvenation of the much-loved Castle Fields Park in the east of the borough. As a result, Castle Fields Community Group were able to put the money towards delivering a number of resident events and activities as well as improve the condition of the grounds.
