Bovis Homes, the main developer behind Stanton Cross, is conducting a Wellingborough wide online survey to discover how people find out what’s going on in the local area. The results will be used to inform how Bovis keeps Wellingborough residents updated on the progress of the scheme before work to improve local transport infrastructure starts on site.

The short survey, accessible at www.stantoncrosssurvey.co.uk, takes around five minutes to complete with one lucky responder picked at random to receive a brand new iPad. The survey will be open until 31st August 2014.

The news comes after Bovis took to Wellingborough High Street earlier this year to ask local people their views face-to-face. The survey was completed by 129 people with respondents outlining they wished information to be mainly available via local papers, newsletters and the internet.

Stanton Cross is one of the largest house building schemes in the country, incorporating over 3,200 private and social houses and more than 230,000 sq. m of business and retail space, creating up to 7,500 jobs for the local region.

John Lougher, Managing Director of South Midlands Region at Bovis Homes:

“Stanton Cross will very much be part of Wellingborough and we are committed to keeping local people informed about what’s going on. Finding out your views, and how you like to be communicated to, is an important part of this process”.

“So why not log onto www.stantoncrosssurvey.co.uk for the chance to win a new iPad”.

Councillor Cllr Paul Bell, Leader of the Borough Council of Wellingborough added:

“Stanton Cross is an incredibly important development for our borough and affects the people that live and work here. We need to make sure these people are informed about the project, so I really welcome this survey. By finding out how they get their news, we can make sure that everyone is kept up to date.”
