Construction photos at Stanton Cross
The dramatic scale of the Stanton Cross has been revealed through a series of construction photographs released by Bovis Homes.
The photos show the new carpark at Wellingborough Station as well as the foundations of the development’s new railway bridge and river bridge. The foundations of the river bridge are 25 metres deep and the bridge itself will be 26 metres long.
The photos also show the equipment currently in use at Stanton Cross to deliver the new bridges including a rare 160 tonne piling rig. There are only three of these in the whole of the UK.
John Lougher, Bovis Homes Group Land Director responsible for Stanton Cross, said:
“We are excited to be able to share the latest photographs of the works at Stanton Cross which demonstrate the great progress being made on site. Work so far includes laying the foundations of the railway and river bridges. The new car park and entrance to Wellingborough Station are now complete and serving passengers”.
